It’s truly Christmas in July for the Daytons as they begin recording songs for their upcoming Christmas album – due out November 1st.
“It feels funny singing Christmas carols in the middle of the summer, but so many of these songs take you back to Christmas morning. It’s easy to go there.”
Tracking began on July 4th with Juno nominated producer, Douglas Romanow, at his studio in Toronto, Ontario. The album will include 11 Christmas classics as well as a cover of Steven Curtis Chapman’s, “Be Still And Know”. It will also feature guest artists, such as Integrity Music’s, Joel Auge, and Juno award winner, Brian Doerksen.
“We’re excited about this CD because we’re approaching it like a live acoustic recording. We want it to sound like people are hanging out in our living room, sitting around the fireplace.”
After the release, Sean & Aimee plan to embark on a two week Christmas tour throughout Ontario.

Sean & Aimee's song, Heartbeat, was selected as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Over 15,000 songs were entered from all over the world, and finalists in each category were chosen by the ISC listening committee. Winners will be announced in early May.

'Hear The Sound' is Sean's third album. Produced by Brent Milligan (Steven Curtis Chapman, David Crowder Band). The songs are centered around the hope that we have in God's unchanging grace. Released on February 23rd across Canada and on iTunes.
